01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Legazpi Village, Makati City, Pamana offers an inviting taste of authentic Filipino cuisine that’s both comforting and memorable. This Filipino restaurant is a true celebration of time-honored family recipes, expertly crafted to bring classic flavors to vibrant life. Whether you're craving traditional favorites or looking to explore iconic dishes, Pamana’s menu delivers with a deliberate balance of rich taste and generous servings.

Among the culinary highlights are their Cebu Lechon Belly, served in two or three-piece portions (₱402.00 - ₱635.00), showcasing perfectly roasted pork belly with crispy skin and juicy meat that melts in your mouth. The lechon’s aromatic, savory profile is unmistakably Filipino and a true crowd-pleaser. Another standout is Lola Pilar’s Pandesal Bar featuring the Adobo Flakes (₱170.00) — crispy, tender, and packed with that irresistible adobo flavor that’s both homey and indulgent. For seafood enthusiasts, Adobong Pusit at Calamares Two Way (₱345.00) is a delightful duet of tender squid cooked in savory adobo sauce and crispy fried calamari, offering contrasting textures and layers of flavor that awaken the palate.

The dining experience at Pamana is equally noteworthy. Situated on an elevated alfresco setup along a calm, tree-lined stretch of Perea Street, the atmosphere whispers tranquility amidst the bustle of Makati. As noted by loyal patrons, the ambiance is warm and cozy, perfect for unwinding with friends or family over comforting Filipino fare. The staff exudes genuine hospitality, making you feel welcomed with attentive service that never overwhelms. Tableware is thoughtfully curated to complement the rustic charm of the dishes, enhancing the meal visually and sensorially.

Though the restaurant can feel a bit crowded during peak times—an indication of its popularity—this minor drawback is outweighed by the overall inviting vibe. One practical tip from customers is to be mindful of the lingering food aromas, especially if you’re heading back to work, as the fragrant dishes tend to stick to clothes. Despite this, the joy of savoring classics like kare-kare, crispy pata, and pinakbet with bagnet is an experience that resonates deeply, evoking the warmth of a Filipino family gathering.

In essence, Pamana is more than a restaurant; it’s a culinary sanctuary where Filipino heritage is lovingly preserved on every plate. For those seeking hearty, authentic, and soul-satisfying meals in Makati, Pamana promises a flavorful journey that lingers in memory long after the last bite.

Food was good and reasonably priced. Servings are generous and balanced. Will recommend okoy and pakbet. Table service is okey. Tablewares are nice. Atmosphere is good but can feel crowded if full. Could improve on its exhaust as food smell tends to stick to clothes after meal. Not very pleasant if you’re returning to work for several face to face meetings as you’d be smelling like mix of food.

Bistro Pamana is one of those places people in Legaspi Village quietly depend on. Mid-block on a calm, tree-lined stretch of Perea Street, the elevated alfresco seating gives you a rare pocket of calm in the city—birds overhead, a relaxed pace, and no sense of being rushed. The food is classic Filipino done exactly right: Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Tocino—every staple you’d hope for, and consistently excellent. After reopening from renovations, the space looks better than ever while keeping the same warmth and character it’s always had. Service is genuinely personal—they treat you like family. The crowd feels very neighborhood: business professionals during the day and Legaspi Village locals in the evening. Reliable, comfortable, and quietly exceptional. A true village staple.

This place offers one of the most authentic and delicious Filipino cuisine! I am convinced that their recipes are indeed a family heirloom with their own secrets to make each dish so delightful! All the familiar favorite dishes are here - kare-kare, crispy pata, chicken binakol, pinakbet with bagnet, bulalo, etc. all the way to Filipino favorite dessert - bibingka, palitaw, puto bumbong, turon na saging at langka, guinumis. This is now my favorite Filipino restaurant! Price is also very reasonable. Since the place is relatively small with limited seating capacity, it would be safer to call and make reservation.

Everything about this restaurant is great. Serves great Filipino food, good service and the decor inside is too beautiful. I got that original Kare Kare which is made from Oxtail, tripe, eggplants and veggies with peanut. It was really good although. I had it with garlic rice. My friend ordered a roast chicken which came with this amazing papaya dip.

Its a very local and heritage restaurant chain in Philippines. The food is just amazingly delicious. We ordered some Salmon Soup and Crispy Pork Pata. The fish was fresh and soup was sour yummy. To complement the food, we also ordered big lemongrass ice tea. It was refreshing. The entire experience was lovely.
